Released in 2014, this indie film portrays the difficulties of long distance relationships. It follows to lovers, one from Spain and the other from Los Angeles.

Alex scores a big break and moves to Los Angeles in hopes to pursue his career dreams. The pair try to maintain their relationship online but have a lot of trouble to keep each other happy physically. 

The Notebook

Surely you’ve heard of this award-winning movie. If you haven’t watched it yet then this is a must watch for you!

Prepare your tissues and uncontrollable tears because this movie will move you. It follows young lovers, Noah and Allie. Allie’s parent doesn’t approve of their relationship it causes trouble for the couple to keep their bond alive. The couple tries to maintain a long distance relationship however, which the constant fail of technology and mistrust between themselves they aren’t too sure whether or not they will last. Especially when there is a hot boss involved. The series has a teenage/ young adult vibe to it. Check out the TV series trailer below.

Things starts to get a little heavy with hard themes but it is definitely worth the emotional rollercoaster you will experience watching this movie.


Atonement follows a romantic love war story over the course of six decades. This movie is one you must watch and why? It won an Oscar for The Best Orginal Score. Not to mention, it will pull on your heartstrings. These lovers are kept apart by the never-ending changes in the world. Watch how these lovers navigate the world together from a distance.
